Colombia. Crutches at the sanctuary of Las Lajas, Department of Nariño.   The sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Las Lajas near Ipiales is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year. The number of miracles said to have happened is thought to be second only to those of Lourdes in France. As testimony to the powers embodied in this shrine a pile of wooden crutches has been left by those who hobbled in and walked away healed.
