Chile: forests in the Malalcahuello National Reserve/ Reserva Nacional Malalcahuello in the Andes mountains east of Temuco, at approximately 750m. The vegetation includes several species of Nothofagus, the Coigüe -N.dombeyi, Ñirre - N.antarctica , Lenga - N.pumilio, Raulí - N.procera with the largest leaves of all the Nothofagus, laurel-like tepas, and many ferns and grasses.
