©Margaret Mee in the garden of her home in Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. She had designed and sewn the dress and her waist length hair was wrapped behind her head. A small green velvet bow - her distinctive 'trademark' was carefully placed. The photo was taken before she left for her final Amazon journey
