Colombia.   Fishermen casting their boliche or encircling net on the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta, a shallow lagoon between Santa Marta and Barranquilla on the Caribbean coast. The lagoon is noted for fish especially mojarra and sábalo. It is also an area with a rich bird life so has been designated a National Wildlife Sanctuary and a RAMSAR site.
