Chile: the Towers of Paine/ Torres del Paine are almost at the southern tip of mainland Chile. Such unusual mountain scenery is the result of immense glacial activity which began in the Pleistocene era roughly a million years ago and continues to this day. The towers left to right are Torre D'Agostini 2850m - Torre Central 2850m - Torre Monzino 2600m.
