Chile:   Santiago: the contrast of old and new architecture on the corner of the Plaza de Armas. To the left is the cathedral completed late in the 18th century. A modern glass office building rises behind the Correo Central, the main Post Office, to the right of the photo. Completed in 1882, the Post Office was built on the site of the former presidential palace.
