The Salvage of the SS Great Britain
Falkland Islands 1969 - 1970

The Great Britain on the Mulus III pontoon towed by the Varius II tug in the South Atlantic. The tow from the Falkland Islands to Avonmouth Great Britain was almost 7000 miles and at the time said to be the longest of its kind.
