The Salvage of the SS Great Britain
Falkland Islands 1969 - 1970

April 12 and 13 air was pumped into the pontoon Mulus III and it gradually rose lifitng the Great Britain out of the water. As the ship settled on the pontoon the starboard crack closed almost completely.
