Peru / Ñusta Isspana / Chuquepalta, the site is best known for the large white rock [Yurak Rumi] and spring. The shape of the rock traces the mountain ridge beyond. The site was a sacred place and also in early Spanish accounts of the Lost City of Vilcabamba it was given as a route marker.
